Great jobs are available.  Grant Grove Village and Montecito Lake Resort are open year-round and some year-round positions are available.  Cedar Grove Village and Stony Creek Lodge are open during the summer months.

Accountant / Controller

The ideal candidate will be able to provide timely, accurate meaningful financial statements; Recommend economic strategies and Internal Controls; Be motivated to improve processes; Interface with outside CPA firm and taxing authorities; Work well with others; and exhibit a strong work ethic and professionalism; have experience in corporate bookkeeping, multi-location G/L, A/R, A/P, P/R. Knowledge of the Hospitality Industry and MAS90 Software are a plus.

 

Retail Department Positions

We have grocery market retail positions at each of the locations and gift shop retail positions at Grant Grove.

 

      Retail Clerk:  Responsible for customer service, stocking shelves, cash handling, and ability to learn product information to help make a sale.  Must have computer experience and understand inventory control.  Involves varying shift hours, long periods of standing, heavy lifting and requires excellent customer service skills. 

 

Lodging Department Positions

The Grant Grove front desk is open until midnight.  Our other locations have lodging and front desks that are open during business hours.

 

     Housekeeping Staff:  Cleans and maintains guest rooms for occupancy, performs other housekeeping duties.  Lifting and bending required.  Some evening shifts available while performing as night porter. 

 

      Night Porter:     Must be able to answer guest needs on demand while maintaining a calm demeanor, will clean guest rooms, lobbies, public restrooms and dump trash cans.  Should have experience with lighting pilot lights, unclogging drains and small building repairs.  Must be straightforward and a reliable, independent worker.  This is an evening position, getting off duty at approx 10pm.

 

      Grounds Keeper:  Responsible for maintaining the grounds around the facility by picking up litter and dumping trashcans.  Maintains the cleanliness of public restrooms/showers and other public areas.

 

Front Desk Clerk:  Responsible for answering telephones, room reservations, data entry, guest registrations, providing park information, and cash handling.  Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Involves long periods of standing. Computer literacy is required. 

 

Food and Beverage Positions

There are food service positions at each of our 3 locations.

 

       Dishwasher/Busser:  Responsible for operating dish washing machine, bussing tables, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. 

 

      Pizza Cook:  Must have experience.  Responsibilities:  pizza preparation and presentation; maintain inventory control and maintain safety and sanitation standards.  May need to operate a cash register.

 

      Cook:  Must have experience.  Responsibilities:  food preparation and presentation in restaurant, ability to create specials, maintain safety and sanitation standards. 

     

      Prep Cook:  Some food handling experience preferred.  Responsible for preparing food under direction and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

 

      Wait Staff:  Responsible for providing prompt, professional food service, completing side work, operate cash register.  Good customer service and interpersonal skills are a must.  May work day and/or evening shifts. 

 

       Pizza or Food Service Counter: Responsible for providing prompt, professional service, operate cash register, inventory control, completing side work.  May work day and/or evening shifts.

 

       Barista/Espresso Bar: Responsible for providing prompt, professional service, inventory control, completing side work, operate cash register.  Work day shifts. 

    

Building Engineer

Engineering technician will have experience in carpentry; finish carpentry; light electrical; plumbing; heating & cooling; interior & exterior painting, experience with brush, roller & airless.  Heavy lifting required. Will be "on-call" and able to develop a good rapport with guests while working efficiently.  Also responsible for snow removal.  Should have proper shoes. Your own RV would be a plus.  A current valid drivers license is required
